About our line

We have owned golden Retrievers for over 35 years. Our first dog Sam came from the Pinecrest Kennel. With him, under the guidance and encouragement of Margaret and David Balaam, we learnt to train and work a gundog, as well as having a wonderful family pet and companion.15 years later, we entered the world of showing with our first bitch that also came from the Pinecrest line, and with her started our own breeding line.

Working

Our dogs first started picking up game birds on small syndicate shoots. We progressed to larger, more commercial shoots as the opportunity arose and experience grew.For the last 18 years the dogs have formed part of the regular picking up team on The Kirby Estate at Coombe in Berkshire.
